Wilson Handicap Ramp

The owner fell and needed to quickly convert his home to be handicap accessible. Permits were pulled in advance of doctors appointments and we worked with the head building official in Manchester to ensure the permits were active and ready for this quick weekend job. Our goal was to have the ramp completed on Sunday afternoon in advance of a Monday appointment (client’s) – which we did. Summary: converted the front steps into a handicap accessible...

Portland Water Damage Repairs

This house in Portland started in the dining room from a bedroom above (the roof above the upstairs bedroom had water come in that made it to the first floor). Downstairs the kitchen, living room and dining room were connected and all had to be repaired. HydroAir Heating and Cooling System

Attic installation of HydroAir heating and cooling system. All new duct work installed. Did all electrical, duct work, and piping. This system moves high volumes of air at low velocity – which is the key to an effecient heating and cooling system. These systems can be installed in basements or attics and work equally well. When cooling the opposite applies – humidity is removed from the air – thus cooling and reducing humidity in your home. Heats and cools evenly throughout your home. The one unit heats and cools – saving you money when installing one unit instead of two and during routine...

Bolton Three Tier Deck

This new composite Trex deck replaced an old wood deck that was in need of replacement. Three tier deck. We replaced and reinforced all carrying beams with a minimum size of 6×6 – all pressure treated set on concrete piers. This was done to handle the extra weight of the composite deckign boards and the hot tub. The deck was made with red cedar colored Trex and brown accents on the steps and edging around the pool. Solar lights were added to the stair risers and tops of the railings as an added effect. The deck was also built around several trees – which add a nice custom feel to the deck in addition to extra shade. We also built the cutouts to accomocate tree growth in the...

Bolton Basement Renovation

The basement previously had a water problem in the basement. A perimeter drain was added around the perimeter of the basement cut into the basement floor along three sides of the house. Also – because the house was built into a grade a french drain was added outside along the foundation over 30 feet long. Together, these solved the drainage problem and allowed for a nice finished recreation room in the basement free from water problems. This was a previously unfinished basement done in 2009 in Bolton.  A tile entry was added along with wood floors and a half bath with laundry room was...
