The basement previously had a water problem in the basement. A perimeter drain was added around the perimeter of the basement cut into the basement floor along three sides of the house. Also – because the house was built into a grade a french drain was added outside along the foundation over 30 feet long. Together, these solved the drainage problem and allowed for a nice finished recreation room in the basement free from water problems.
This was a previously unfinished basement done in 2009 in Bolton. A tile entry was added along with wood floors and a half bath with laundry room was added.
